Everybody Hates Christmas is the eleventh episode of the first season of Everybody Hates Chris.
Plot/Synopsis[]
At Christmas time, after the water heater breaks before Rochelle and Julius can buy Chris's present, Rochelle makes the effort to give Chris a good Christmas in its place. Meanwhile, Chris's teacher makes repeated efforts to deliver the school's food drive to his family and Drew reveals to Tonya who really puts the Christmas presents under the tree. At the end of the episode, the Rock family are all sitting together watching TV and Ms. Morello is on the channel they’re watching with a news reporter. Ms. Morello has a basket full of foods for poor families and are standing outside a door which looks a lot like the Rock’s house door. They then knock on the door which is in fact the Rock’s house door due to Rochelle getting up to answer it. The door the opens and Ms. Morello and the news reporter says “Merry Christmas” to Rochelle with the basket of food on live TV. An enraged Rochelle on live TV shouts “Chris!” with Chris looking at the TV shocked with the EHC hook playing, ending the episode.
